Six years ago, I celebrated the state of Alabama's 200th bicentennial and the release of my first cookbook called Time to Eat, Y’all , which pays tribute to our state and is the official bicentennial cookbook . All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook went to the beautification of our Alabama State Capitol.
It was a tremendous honor.
It was also special to have the Pride of Hayden Band from our home town to march in the parade.
And, I was honored to sign my cookbook for Taylor Hicks.

It was a great honor six years ago to celebrate Alabama's 200th anniversary and the release of my first cookbook honoring our state, with a special opportunity to sign my book for Taylor Hicks.
All proceeds from the book went to our beautiful state capitol
