For reasons unknown, my main FB account that manages this page is restricted from creating advertisements. Due to this restriction, I can't change page managers to fix it or link my Instagram to further grow this page. If I delete my Facebook profile tight now, it will delete this page and all of my followers. 🙄

So I had to create a new FB profile, with a new email and a new photo page and it will run parallel with this page til I can hopefully get all of you transferred over.... basically starting with a clean slate if I want to run ads and build this page.

Please follow this link to my new photo page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61562300190817

Sorry for the inconvenience. Also big thanks to Facebook! 🙄🙄🙄

Drifting competitions commence with qualifying rounds, where solo runs ascertain bracket positions. Subsequently, the most skilled drivers progress to tandem battles. It is imperative to note that drifting on public roads is prohibited and may result in substantial fines or even incarceration. However, numerous race tracks provide a legal and safe environment for drivers to engage in drifting and competition.

In theory, any car can be used for drifting. However, vehicles with rear-wheel drive are particularly well-suited for this technique. Four-wheel drive vehicles can also be effective for drifting. Professional drift cars typically utilize a specialized differential that optimally distributes and balances power between the front and rear axles. Additionally, drivers intentionally disable driving aids such as ABS (anti-lock braking system) and TCS (traction control) to maintain complete control of their vehicles at all times.

Drifting is a controlled technique in which drivers intentionally oversteer their vehicles, causing the rear wheels to lose traction and the rear end to swing out. Drivers must maintain a controlled slide while simultaneously turning the front wheels in the opposite direction.

In Drifting competitions, drivers are evaluated based on their speed, angle, showmanship, and line through corners. Some argue that drifting is more akin to an action sport than a traditional race, with drivers earning positions based on their style and driving prowess.

The genesis of drifting can be traced back to Japan. Renowned motorcycle racer Kunimitsu Takahashi, the first Japanese Grand Prix victor, sustained an injury during the 1962 Isle of Man TT, prompting his transition to automobile racing in 1965. Utilizing his Nissan Skyline KPGC10, he would execute controlled slides through the apex of corners and accelerate powerfully on the straights, surpassing the cornering speeds of his competitors.

This technique eventually evolved into the modern sport of drifting. Takahashi is widely regarded as the "father of drifting" due to his significant contributions to the sport, despite never having formally competed in professional drifting events. Vehicles employed for drifting are frequently modified and referred to as "drift machines." A specific type of drift car, known as a "drift missile," features a distinct front and rear wheelbase, typically with a shortened rear end.

Drift racing originated in Japan during the 1970s, with Japanese racing driver Kunimitsu Takahashi, widely regarded as the "father of drifting." While the technique had been utilized in other motorsports since the 1950s, it gained significant popularity in Japan and subsequently in the West during the 1990s. The 1995 manga series Initial D played a pivotal role in further popularizing the sport. Over time, drifting has garnered global recognition and participation, captivating audiences with its aesthetic appeal, the driver's expertise, and the spectacle of smoking tires.

The LaSalle automobile brand, designed by Cadillac from 1927 to 1940, addressed price gaps in General Motors' (GM) portfolio. GM's Chairman, Alfred P. Sloan, conceptualized four new concepts to fill this market gap. LaSalle vehicles were positioned as more affordable options with a shorter wheelbase and were marketed as the second most prestigious cars offered by GM.

The name LaSalle originated from the French explorer René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle. The car's design was envisioned by Harley Earl, a renowned designer with a 50-year tenure at GM. The LaSalle stood out as a sportier alternative to other large touring cars of its time and is widely regarded as a pioneer of modern automotive styling.

Notably, the LaSalle incorporated several innovative features for its era, including a V8 engine, a gas gauge, a cigar lighter, and a dedicated compartment for golf clubs. It also held the distinction of being the first Cadillac to adopt hydraulic brakes from Bendix.

The inaugural LaSalle model achieved remarkable success, garnering numerous awards and accolades. Sales experienced a significant surge in 1934 and continued to grow until 1936. However, the economic downturn during the Great Depression led to a shift in consumer preferences away from luxury vehicles, impacting LaSalle's market performance.

Furthermore, the LaSalle brand gained cultural recognition through its mention in the theme song of the popular 1970s television sitcom "All in the Family."

In the realm of 3D printing, it became imperative to design a rider to complement the bike. These two elements are inextricably linked, and one cannot fulfill its purpose without the other. Subsequently, I proceeded to apply a touch of paint to imbue my creation with a semblance of life. While it has yet to attain true vitality, it is undoubtedly making progress. After all, it would be illogical to possess an array of helmets without heads to occupy them.

The 1940 Ford coupe was designed by Eugene T. “Bob” Gregorie, a former yacht designer, and was one of the final products of his design collaborations with Edsel Ford. The coupe's streamlined style and enhanced functionality contributed to its success.

The Ford Coupe featured a more modern dashboard in optional colors of maroon or beige, replacing the wood grain panels of previous years. Potential buyers could choose between a 136 cubic inch 60 hp engine or the larger 221 ci 86 hp design. Both engine options were coupled with a 3-speed manual transmission.

The 1940 Ford was a popular car, joining a long history of automobiles with attractive designs. Many of its successes can be attributed to the Ford Coupe's affordability, ample power (for that era), and improved drivability compared to previous generations.

The Ford F100, (customized 2nd gen pictured) introduced in 1953 as part of Ford's "Economy Truck Line," holds a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts. Its distinctive design, inspired by the Super Sabre Fighter Jet, earned it the affectionate nickname "The Hun" in certain circles. Characterized by rounded hoods and large headlights, the F100 quickly gained popularity among Ford enthusiasts, who fondly referred to it as "Effie."

Initially equipped with a flathead engine, the F100 underwent a significant upgrade in subsequent years, adopting an overhead valve engine known as The Power King, which delivered an impressive output (at the time) of 130 horsepower. The standard 300 cubic inch Straight 6 engine generated 114 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, with later optional engine choices ranging from a 302 to a 460 motor. Most notably, four-wheel drive became a factory-installed option in 1959, enhancing the truck's capabilities in challenging weather conditions and uneven terrain.

The Buick Roadmaster, produced from 1936 to 1958, was the company's flagship vehicle. Built on Buick's longest non-limousine wheelbase, it shared its basic structure with the entry-level Cadillac Series 65, the Buick Limited, and after 1940, the Oldsmobile 98.

The pictured vehicle is a 1950s (6th Generation) Buick Roadmaster Coupe Convertible. Utilizing the same RWD platform as Cadillac and Oldsmobile of that era, Buick adopted the new pontoon style of a lower and wider body. This design abandoned the running boards of the past and emphasized contour lines that showcased the full width and uninterrupted length of the car body.

This styling trend was prevalent in most automobiles until the late 1960s. It also introduced Dagmar bumpers, the chrome bullet-shaped bumpers seen on post-World War II cars of the 1950s. The Roadmaster's engine output was enhanced to 200 horsepower, and the convertible trim was listed at a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $3,521, equivalent to $39,948 in 2023.
