AKEALEIS MCKENSIE and JAILEN SHADE appeared in court today, where they were denied bond. Mckensie has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a stolen firearm. Shade also faces an attempted murder charge. Police say the suspects fled after the shooting, and handguns were recovered from both individuals. According to officials, while both were armed, only Mckensie’s weapon was fired.The victim remains in stable condition but is still in the ICU. More tonight in the news at 9.
