Fire units are slowly clearing from the house explosion and fire in the 13000 block of St Croix Trail. KDWA has learned one firefighter was taken to Regina Hospital for heat related reasons and is expected to be ok. We are still awaiting word from Hastings Fire on this entire situation.

Video of the smoke from the active fire in the 13000 block of St Croix Trail. The call came in as an explosion. We continue to stage on scene and wait for more information.

Short video of the traffic delays on 61 South after the serious crash at Point Douglas and Manning. 1 person was killed and another injured in the accident according to the State Patrol.
KDWA'S Nick Tuckner on scene at the Afton State Park Beach area, as numerous law enforcement, Fire, EMS, Boats and Dive Services are here on Wednesday morning for the report of a drowning. We are trying to gather more information, but the scene is still very active. When more official information has been given to KDWA, we will share it.

Significant debris buildup now occurring near Levee Park in Hastings as we get closer to the cresting of our flood situation. Numerous tree branches and even downed trees themselves flowing through the current and on towards Prescott. A no wake zone remains in effect until further notice.

Listener submitted video of the Cannon River just outside of Hastings shows the severity of the flooding and high waters in that location. More heavy rain just moved through Hastings, hopefully the last of it for awhile. We are keeping an eye on our situation here.
