BREAKING: Hastings Police have informed us that Northbound 316 would be closed for a short time from Spiral Boulevard and Highway 61 due to the aftermath of a police pursuit. Both Hastings PD and Dakota County Sheriff’s Office are on scene. As of 3:30 it appeared as if traffic was flowing through the area. Traffic was being redirected down Spiral Boulevard to Commerce Drive during the brief closure. All subjects are in custody according to police.

There is a fire department presence at the Dakota County Judicial Center. Our understanding is that this is not a fire but a water alarm related issue. All buildings except the Judicial Center on the campus as well as Hastings High School have reportedly received the all clear
