Storm initiation may be just a few hours away.. The SPC has put some of ND in the Slight Risk (2/5) for severe weather and areas outside of the yellow shading could get a severe storm---but the odds will be even lower. The setup in the atmosphere favors hail the size of eggs early, along with wind to 75 mph. As the evening progresses we may see more of a damaging winds as the main threat. I'll be here tonight either posting if there are only a couple of storms, or on FB Live if the activity increases

Temperatures will remain above normal across western and central North Dakota this upcoming work week. Tuesday will be especially warm with highs approaching 100 degrees over the southwest. Thursday and Friday will also see high temperatures mainly in the 90s. Heat indices may approach 100 degrees Tuesday and again late in the work week. Look for scattered thunderstorms through Wednesday, some could be severe on Monday and Tuesday. Drier conditions are expected to end the week.
