I recieved a proposal from a film company this morning...who said they were interested in using my childrens book..."If I Was A..." in a short film for kids. Now I receive these type of emails almost daily and most are scams. I was moved to answer this one with this response.

Thanks for your proposal but unfortunately my money tree in the backyard has lost all of its leaves from the strong winds of life carrying them away, not to mention all of the pennies in my wishing well have disintegrated...turned to dust. I have been taking daily trips down to the dock hoping that my ship will come in but all that lies before my eyes is the vastness of open sea.

In the eyes of many I'm as poor as can be
But from my vantage point... that's not what I see.
For Jesus my Savior has made me free
The greatest of treasures...now... abiding in me!

In our English bibles there are passages that use the words Listen or hear which is an incomplete translation of the original Hebrew word "shema" which means listen and obey. After I learned this the Lord planted a song in my heart to share this word and its full meaning with the world...and a very interesting characteristic of this song is that everything is doubled. When I queried the Lord on this...He said remember how Yeshua (Jesus) would say from time to time in his teachings "verily verily I say to you" or "And again I say to you"...It would be something to pay extra attention to. We are all being called to a higher place with God in these last days and we must not only know his word but we must obey His word. That's what this song is all about.
