What an amazing week in Austin, Texas for Workhuman Live 2024. This is easily one of the most unique, person-centered conferences out there.

Workhuman Live has been known to bring in some iconic keynote speakers from different industries to share insights on leadership, human connection, and workplace culture. This year did not disappoint with speakers such as Erin Meyer, Nancy Giordano, Issa Rae, Brene Brown, Baratunde Thurston, Simon T. Bailey, Andrew McAfee, Dr. Joy Buolamwini, Allison Massari, Ginny Clarke, Mark Po***ck, Hamza Khan and many more.

The attendees left the event with new connections, inspiration, and knowledge to take advantage of the time they have until Workhuman Live 2025.

We are super excited to release the first frames of “The J Day Chronicles”, a series of stories highlighting the 2023 racing season from both select rider perspectives, as well as the J Day crew perspectives. Thousands of individual stories are told at every race, let alone throughout a whole season so it was a blast to aim for a select few stories at the start of the season and then see how they would unfold as the season progressed.

I don’t think anyone could have predicted how much adversity the weather would cause last year, but as Ethan Broatch has said… “Everything both good and bad has happened this year, that has never happened before in J Day history.” So as unprecedented as this past year was, it really showcased what a passionate and resilient group these New England Rippas are.

A huge thanks go out to all the riders who took the time to do interviews and private shoots, as well as the J Day crew for all the help and hospitality over the past season. It takes a village to shoot and produce as much as we have this year.

An early screening of the trailer will be shown this Saturday at the MGM Springfield for the annual J Day Off Road Awards Banquet.

The first ever J Day Off Road docu-series is officially wrapped as of last week. It was a wild season for everyone this year, that sure does make for some great stories.

Huge thanks to everyone that helped with production over the 2023 season, it takes a village for something like this. On the editing front Episode 1 is done and Episode 2 is off to get colored.

Huge shoutout to Ethan Broatch for trying a new format on the media front and realizing the power of story. We are very excited to share this project Q1 of 2024.

We have been helping various networks with coverage of numerous political speeches, events and fundraisers on a national scale throughout the past two years. The deliverables have been anything from TV coverage to social media campaigns. With next year being a presidential election year I’m sure this side of things won’t be slowing down anytime soon. A lot of content that’s produced is done roughly with the same process and then scaled/altered for context to fit the clients needs.

Everything comes down to the end goal the client has in mind and we make a road map along side them to make it happen.

A few years back we were fortunate enough to help provide some additional camera support to an Iron Chef special in NYC. When arriving on set, it was amazing to see the scale of the production and how many moving parts there were moving simultaneously.

However, it was a super simple process to jump into based on one key factor...everyone on set had incredible communication skills. This of course includes all the pre-production calls leading up to shoot day.

When it comes to having a successful production, it’s essential to have good communication with all partners involved. Here’s why:

1️⃣ Understanding expectations: By communicating clearly and frequently, everyone involved can have a clear understanding of what is expected of them.

2️⃣ Avoiding misunderstandings: Good communication can help avoid misunderstandings that can lead to mistakes and delays in the production process.


3️⃣ Keeping everyone on the same page: Regular check-ins and updates can help keep everyone informed and ensure that the project is progressing smoothly.


4️⃣ Collaborating effectively: When everyone involved is communicating effectively, it becomes easier to collaborate and make decisions together.


At the end of the day, good communication is essential for a successful production. So make sure to prioritize it with all partners involved early in the process! 🎥

The 2023 J Day Off Road series is going to be epic. We will be on board producing a docuseries on some of the racers, the series, and the crew, hoping to cover as many elements as possible. There are so many stories from each and every person from every single round, sometimes those stories come from just getting to the races every weekend.

We are looking forward to catching some bench racing in real time, and sharing some of the stories as they unfold this year. 🎥 🏍️💨
