I have put a lot of work into this one. The mix is amazing and everything is clean and balanced.

Live drums, deep synth, trance, house and of course Drum and BASS. I put my homage to Richard Wright on here and a badass remix of one of my older songs.

Most of you on Facebook won't give it a second glance or you'll like/love the post and NEVER listen to my work (dicks!) HOWEVER. The world thinks I'm doing okay because I just hit my 25,000th ORGANIC like for my efforts thus far. 🙃

I upgraded to Ableton 12 and it basically told me I was making music wrong. I listened. I learned.

Then I went writing spree for 48 hours and made this album. 3 new songs, 1 rewrite of Train Rekt from the last album.
It's night and day. I'm very proud of this work.

This entire album is 11 minutes long. Give me 11 minutes of your time. Please.

Alright..

3 weeks ago, I suffered a stroke, following that a seizure. I'm doing "ok". I have had some large memory loss, some wobbly function and some difficulty with short term memory.

I'm working on it. I've been taking it easy for 3 weeks, this being the 4th week of my time away from most everything stress related.

I did try to push myself and that resulted in another episode yesterday likely fatigue and diet related.

One day at a time for me. For some projects, that's going to just have to be put on hold I think. I hate that. I've worked very hard on so many things in these areas. It's pretty difficult for me to do deep programming and I'll likely seek some help when/if the smoke clears.

That's it. That's what I've got.

I've taken on some hobbies that can generate small funds for my family. Woodworking, other stuff I'm still decent at. Gardening. All slow paced. Stuff to destress.

It has been a huge wake up call for me and my family.
"I'm still here"

If you're entire personality is your brand, you talk down on others and keep pumping yourself up, it gives mean girls and I'm just against the whole entire attitude. I don't care how successful you are, it's just bad human behavior. Gatekeep away di*****ds. lol.

I'll just keep pumping out ORIGINAL music, games and being myself. It took a long time to find that guy again, and I'm not looking back or letting anything get in my way.

I know my purpose, I know who supports me and I see right through the people making trouble for us.

Drama? No.

I put a ton of effort into this, got the remix certified and even had some kind words with some people who represent the band. It's officially the first time I've ever sang in public, on a song, on anything and I'm sure it'll "wow" a few.

I took some "me" time the past two weeks with my developments. It's good to get away from other projects to keep things fresh, learn new skills and apply them in a different environment. It's always helped me grow before and still rings true to this day.

I have finally merged my ENTIRE codebase from [a previous product] to Just Another Day and have rebuilt the entire map so that it preloads every item in quads that the player is in and keeps a 4x Level Of Detail so that I can have very detailed environments with little impact to performance. All of my NPC AI is in, and been updated to the Animation IK package for ridiculous immersion. They make their own decisions, create their animations dynamically and have a skillset I have personally never seen with AI in games before.

For a one man dev team, I'm pretty damned proud of this project. I've rebuilt it about a million times and doubted myself every step of the way. It's actually turning into something I'd consider a sellable product.

Here are my first EVER shots of our massive 3000m2 map in SOLiTUDE. The multiplayer component for Just Another Day. Gameplay video is being edited after this is posted!

Back to WarHeads 2 development for the next 3 weeks with a networking and netcode fresh in my mind!
