As an entrepreneur a lot of my business depends on referrals. Yes I can market myself and network with businesses who could benefit from my services but there truly is nothing like being recommended to someone and that person reaching out saying "I really need help with xzy and so and so suggested you for that".

It is humbling for sure and also fills me with a sense of pride because not only did a client or a business acquaintance enjoy their experience working with me but they also have enough confidence and trust in me to recommend me to others which is a huge honor.

In early 2020 when the world was shutting down and my position in corporate America was eliminated I really got to take a look at my life and my career and analyze what it was that I truly wanted for myself and for my children. By the end of 2021 I was becoming more involved in social media marketing and learning more about how to use social platforms to build and sustain business relationships. In the spring of 2022 I started realizing how large the need for social media management and general virtual assistant services were becoming, so in April I took on my first client managing their social media pages and advising them on steps to move forward in their business. It was a really great learning experience for both the client and myself and since then I have grown to cover all kinds of administrative needs as well as content creation for social media marketing. In 2023 I am looking forward to growing my business by serving other small business owners.
