What exactly does a “journalist” look like? What about a “reporter”? How about a “news man”? Back in the 20th century they were easy to see and portray because the movies and TV shows told us. If I could tell my younger self one thing it would be; “Just do it.” Nike nailed it for sure but only now, all these decades later do I truly get it. Although I’ve found myself forgetting that simple truth. Not any more. For so many months now, I wrangled with getting a podcast on the cyber waves. Frankly, I’ve been over the whole concept of Black Friday since 1997 when I first heard about it. The idea of lining up outside a Walmart in the wee hours of the morning with hundreds if not thousands of people wasn’t appealing. At all. There was no deal great enough to motivate me. Perhaps no items that would complete my or a friend or family members life were being offered....
