The Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs ran their winning streak to five with a 59-33 win over the Murphysboro Lady Red Devils last night. The Dogs were once again led by the one -two punch of Jamisen Green and Kinsleigh Smothers, who had 18 and 14 points respectively. Keely Hines pitched in with 8 as the Lady Dogs moved to 11-1 on the season. Our Cardinal Buildings Power Move of the Game was a nice pass from Kinsleigh Smothers to Kaylee King for a nice assist and basket in the 3rd quarter. Next up for the Lady Dogs is a rematch with the only team to have beaten them this season, the Marion Lady Wildcats Saturday afternoon at Davenport Gym. The Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs continued their winning ways with a 70-27 win over Carterville tonight. The Dogs came out on fire in the first quarter hitting 6 threes to take control early. Jamisen Green paced the Dogs with 18 points, Kinsleigh Smothers poured in 15, Hannah Rorer pitched in 12 and Koral Hathaway added 10 for a balanced scoring Lady Bulldog offense. Our Cardinal Buildings Power Move(s) of the game was the three point shooting (12 made threes) by the Lady Bulldogs. The Harrisburg Bulldogs picked up their third consecutive victory last night with a 62-33 win over Gallatin County. The Dogs were led in scoring by Owen Rann with 20 points. Jaylon Ellis added 14 and Cayden Young had 13 to lead a balanced attack. The 4-2 Bulldogs are back in action tonight! ICYMI: The Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs used a strong second half to pick up another road win, 54-37 at Benton last night. The Lady Dogs had three players in double figures, led by Jamisen Green with 17. Koral Hathaway and Kinsleigh Smothers chipped in with 15 and 14 points respectively. The Lady Dogs trailed 16-14 at the half, but got two huge threes early in the second half by Hannah Rorer, our Cardinal Buildings Power Move of the Game, to take their first lead of the game, and never looked back. Jake Stewart’s Dogs are now 9-1 and are in action three times next week all at home. Tuesday against Carterville, Thursday against Murphysboro, and Saturday afternoon against Marion, the only team to defeat the Lady Dogs this season.
