It's #nationalfirstrespondersday 🚑 🚒 🚓
A day to recognize the bravery, commitment, and selflessness of the men and women who serve as police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical professionals. These individuals dedicate their lives to protecting and saving others, often putting themselves in harm's way without hesitation.👩🚒👮♂️👩⚕️
These professions come with immense challenges. First responders witness trauma, loss, and suffering daily. Despite this, they continue to serve with unwavering dedication. They put aside personal concerns and fears and rise to the call for help. They sacrifice their time with family and friends, and at times, their own well-being, all to ensure our communities are safe and protected.🎖
Let’s recognize their resilience and sacrifice. Let's remember that behind the uniforms and badges are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors. They are our community, and we owe them not just our gratitude but our respect and support.

Popped into Water Colours Interior Design, LLC yesterday. I thought I would show you around. They've got great gifts, home decor, gourmet food items in their Mechanicsburg store. #ShopSmall
Thanks to everyone that has read our four guide books online! Thought it would be fun to do a screen record to show everyone the top 1,870 towns.

Check out the inside front cover of the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce visitors guide at the St Pete. Clearwater Airport. It's us!! And we're promoting our Pennsylvania guide books to the thousands of people that vacation and snowbird in Tampa Bay.
We love promoting our Central and South Central PA region to the world!
I interrupt the interruption that was brought to you by Hurricane Ian down in Florida because as some of you may know, we have a location in Tampa bay also.
Brand new Cafe and bakery alert in Elizabethtown.
Stopped by today just before they closed to support this local, woman owned business. Turns out I actually know the owner, Amanda. I've worked with her at a local well known restaurant many years ago where she made our amazing baked goods. So as soon as I saw her smiling face, I knew it was going to be good.
Wound up getting a coffee, quiche and a bunch of other items that included a gluten-free mini cheesecake and gluten-free Amish style blueberry and cream baked oatmeal for tomorrow's breakfast.
Check them out on 743 close to 283
at 346 Hershey Rd

I remember exactly where I was. Do you?
I was serving breakfast in a restaurant by Busch Gardens in #Tampa. We had a TV on and I remember all of us just standing there in shock watching as the second tower was struck. I'll never forget.
A total of 2,996 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks, including the 19 terrorist hijackers aboard the four airplanes. Citizens of 78 countries died in New York, Washington D.C. and #Pennsylvania.
At the World Trade Center, 2,763 died after the two planes slammed into the twin towers. That figure includes 343 firefighters and paramedics, 23 New York City police officers and 37 Port Authority police officers who were struggling to complete an evacuation of the buildings and save the office workers trapped on higher floors.
At the Pentagon, 189 people were killed, including 64 on American Airlines Flight 77, the airliner that struck the building. On Flight 93, 44 people died when the plane crash-landed in Pennsylvania.
The heroic efforts of the city’s fire and police departments and other emergency services helped 25,000 people escape from the site on 9/11 before the unthinkable occurred. The south tower gave way first, crumbling to the ground at 9:59 a.m., only 56 minutes after being hit. The north tower collapsed less than a half hour later, at 10:28 a.m.
Overwhelmed by horror, shock and grief, New Yorkers and people around the world trained their eyes on “Ground Zero,” where the fall of a treasured icon of American industry and ingenuity had left a gaping hole in the sky.
May all of those that lost their lives that day rest in eternal peace.
