It’s sign up day!!! 7pm tonight. Just to reiterate a few changes for this year. If you are car pooling and don’t need a parking pass. You can deselect it. In addition there will be a purchase insurance option as there will not be any refunds this year. Below is what you’ll see when signing up regarding it.

Making a seperate post to clarify my reasoning for not turning 360 into a 13.5 just stock class.

First let me say that the intention for this class from the beginning was to allow beginner intermediate drivers the chance to run the premier class in dirt oval and compete on a national stage and not have to worry about being in the pro’s way while gaining them the experience to move up in the coming years.

Let me say this. Since we’ve offered this, the class has worked exactly as it was intended to. Let me repeat that. It’s worked exactly as it was intended to. There has been zero issues.

Starting a spec class creates a whole new group of issues that we don’t have to deal with currently. First being cheated motors. Second is guys buying lots of motors and picking the best of the bunch and creating a “tuned” or “hand picked” market. 3rd it eliminates ultralight drivetrain parts which run the cost of the class up and away from beginner, intermediate classes. 4th it eliminates any battery war. Now you could justifiably say that those things won’t make you win. True, but it’s the perception it creates. Much like guys think when you say mod they need to strap a 5.0 in the car when a 13.5 would win it.

I’m not oblivious to the success that the 13.5 class has had in the NE. I think it’s a great club level class to offer.

I know not everyone will be happy with this decision but as many things in life not everyone enjoys the same flavor of ice cream.

We are about 2.5 weeks from sign ups!!!!

Couple of house keeping notes.

New screened dirt has been ordered!!! Also a new storage area has been acquired to ensure it stays screened in between each year!

Mudboss classes will allow the new heavy duty parts from Traxxas that come in the newer kits.

SC Mod. This is your year to show up and show that the class is still viable. I heard so many people tell me after, that they wanted to run it but X reason they couldn't.

Vendor spots are limited and going quick. Don't be left out.

Please be ready on Nov 1st at 7pm with your payment info handy. Spots will go quick.

We're just about 6 weeks away from sign ups. I want to go over a few things that will be different this year.

First sign ups will be at 7pm on November 1st to try and better accommodate everyone.

This year during sign ups the parking pass will be auto selected. If you know for a fact you are car pooling and don't need the parking pass you can unselect it. There will not be any refunds done this year for unused parking passes. Make your travel arrangements before signing up.

New for this year Motorama will be offering the option to purchase insurance for an additional fee. If you can't make it you will be able to request a refund and your spot will go the waiting list.
