We have two elves at our house, Frosty & Snowflake. These are a few of the “messes” our elves got themselves into this holiday season. We always have so much fun with them and seeing the kids enjoy the crazy they bring to our lives. I think I have more fun with the elves than the kids do sometimes.

Spent the day enjoying quality time with my kids and nieces. Keegan and I watched Sonic 3, a highly recommended film. Following that, I picked up lexi and my nieces and we watched Mufasa, an exceptional movie that is a must-see. Two outstanding films and the best part was sharing these experiences with my kids and nieces.

We have had several people reach out to us about Wesley and Andrew, the two brothers who went missing in Butte County, while duck hunting approximately six days ago.

Unfortunately, due to the distance, we are unable to assist, but we did reach out to Nick Rinn and his team, Oregon Rescue Divers, to see if they would be able to offer their assistance.

Nick and his team are there now, arriving last night and began their search today in hopes of bringing the brothers home to their families.

We cannot possibly imagine the pain of anguish that the family is dealing with during this unimaginable time, especially during this holiday season.

Important PSA About Missing Person Scam Posts

While there are many going around, the family of John Sigman is having their heart broken again because of this very thing.

Please do your due diligence on sharing “missing persons” posts. These scams target the friends and family of well-meaning people who share the posts. You might share a missing person’s post, and a few days later, a friend sees a scam on your page. Since they know you, they trust it and click on the link—only to fall victim to money scams, identity theft, or have their accounts hacked.

Before you share a missing person post, be cautious if you notice:
• It’s posted in a Facebook community group
• It urges you to “Flood your feeds”
• It claims “It takes 2 seconds to share”
• It asks you to “Bump this post”
• The city name is included as a

If none of these raise red flags, visit the original post and check the comments. If you can’t comment on it, do not share it.

These scam posts distract from real missing person cases and often tie up local law enforcement resources.

We all want to help, but the best way to do so is by verifying before sharing. “It only takes two seconds to share” is a manipulation tactic designed to get you to spread the scam.

DON’T BE MANIPULATED. Take a few seconds to verify before hitting share.
