Small vanilla pound cake 🍰.

Recipe
Ingredients
3 eggs (room temperature)
3 tbsps milk (room temperature)
1 tbsp vanilla essence
11/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp lemon zest(zest of one lemon)
1 cup (225g) unsalted butter (room temperature)

Method
1.Preheat oven at 350F/180C
2.Add eggs,milk and vanilla essence and whisk until just combined. Do not overwork the mixture.Set aside
3.In another bowl,add flour, baking powder,salt,sugar and lemon zest and mix.
4.Add butter into the dry ingredients and knead until the butter is incorporated and a dough is formed.
5.Gradually add the egg mixture into the dough,making sure it is fully mixed before adding the next batch
6.Transfer dough to a greased and floured cake pan and bake for 55 minutes.Test by inserting a tooth pick or fork.If it comes out clean,the cake is done.HAPPY COOKING 🥰

Chicken Tacos

Recipe
Ingredients
3 chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1tsp salt
1 tsp chili
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tbsp paprika
Chopped red onions
Flour tortillas
8oz mozzarella/cheddar
Chopped cilantro/lettuce

Method
Cut chicken breasts into cubes.Season with oil and all the seasonings listed.Heat some oil in a pan and sear the chicken for about 7 more minutes or until done.Remove chicken from the stove and set aside.In a non stick skillet, apply a little bit of oil and then place your tortilla.On top,add cheese, chicken, onions and cilantro/lettuce.Flip the taco to ensure both sides are cooked.Serve and enjoy.Happy Cooking 🥰
