The annual FireWORX Festival featuring music by none other than The Worx!

Activities for all ages, food, demonstrations and some really great music can be found at Booker T. Washington National Monument today during Harvest Time.

Laura Gignac shared this photo and video of a plane touching down on Smith Mountain Lake near Gills Creek on Tuesday. Gignac said the occupants left the plane for a swim before taking off again about an hour later.
