Be a part of our next episode! Submit clips of anything you see that brings you joy and your neighbors would relate to! The theme for inspiration this time is "That's So April!" Due date: Monday, April 29th. Have fun, and don't forget to turn your phone sideways! ;) #hctvclips

😎🌑🌞🎞️ Submit your Community eCLIPSe!
What an amazing experience! What was it like for you? If you took video of the event, please consider submitting it to the Community Clips project and helping us put together a collective video of our experience of this once-in-a-lifetime event! You can easily submit using only your phone if that’s how you recorded it. How to submit here: https://hctv.us/clips/
🕑 If you could include the TIME that you took the clip, it might be cool if we can put them all together in order showing the progression of the event!
Things relating to the event are welcome too, such as traffic or preparations, general hubbub, or the quiet you were able to find for it. Anything goes as long as it was recorded recently in the area of Hardwick/Woodbury/Greensboro and surrounding towns and is without narration, added music or graphics.
Thank you to The Center for an Agricultural Economy for underwriting this project! www.caevt.org
📣🌑🌞😎Be a part of our next episode! Submit clips of the eclipse frenzy in the Hardwick, Greensboro, and Woodbury area! Cars lining up? Grocery stores full? And of course the moment itself!*
HOWEVER just as you can damage your eyes by looking directly at the sun, so can you damage your camera sensor! There will be lots to film without pointing your lens at the sun! Due date: 4/11/24
If you would like to continue to collect clips of unrelated things that remind you of where you live and what time of year it is, there will be space in the following episode for that stuff too.

Taking Submissions for Episode 2 of Community Clips!
Community Clips Episode 2 will be themed “Early Spring Traditions & Events” and submissions are due April 4, 2024! What traditions do you associate this time of year with? The Woodbury Pie Breakfast? Open sugar houses? Starting seeds? Apple tree pruning? Lambing season? Feel free to include holidays! Vernal Equinox celebrations, Easter, Norouz, etc. Let us know what other ideas we should post here! #hctvclips
Note: Please keep in mind the guildeline below about “expectation of privacy” when filming people, and always be sure to ask permission! Have fun, and don’t forget to turn your phone sideways! 😉
Thank you to The Center for an Agricultural Economy for underwriting our pilot series!
Here is an example of something you could submit to the Community Clips project! This one might be titled “Chickens & Sugar on Snow”, filmed in East Hardwick, submitted by an East Hardwick Resident (it was me, Elizabeth! I edited two clips together using iMovie on my phone, but you don’t need to be so fancy!)
