I shot my shot at another book girlie who has a book club in the area to start collaborating - BUCKETS 😜 she answered!

Started a private group for woman to come together and really talk about relationships and marriage. Even if that means it has to stay small and intimate. It is God-led over there. No "sprinkle sprinkle" - sorry if that is what you are looking for.

Deleted old messages and emails out of my phone - clap it up for your girl! 😂

It is turning out to be such a wonderful day 💛

Take the "I got you" mentality that you have been giving to MAN and watch what happens when you give it to GOD. Trust, have faith, and know your worth. We are not so desperate for dollars that we have to put a discount on our gift. You have been asking for your bills to be paid but you keep doing it for FREE - tell them it COSTS! You will still be impactful, you will still change the world, and you WILL NOT be broke.

I was talking to my coworker about how I have been in the kitchen and how it has been very therapeutic for me. The only thing that gets me is tight is boiling rice - I just can't get it right.

Needless to say, there is a new rice cooker on the way to my house because I don't need to worry about boiling rice and to continue getting better in the kitchen. God is soo dope and I can't wait to bless my coworker with something in return!

I truly enjoy discovering photos of myself in action. Here I am, addressing our students from Muskegon Community College in Michigan during their visit to VA Beach at NAViGATE 2023 last year.

The more I engage in outreach and development, the more grateful I am for marketing serving as a pathway. I endeavored to attract more IT students from nearby colleges, but only one professor from Regent University attended. Despite feeling disheartened, as my aim is to introduce more students to the "i" and rejuvenate this waning platform, I was thrilled to learn that the attending professor was so taken that he intended to advocate for the IBM i curriculum at the university.

Whether it transpires or not, I am certain that I am fulfilling my calling.

Went to the lake and left inspired. Went to the beach and got the creative itch. Made a post about content creating and my inbox is booming. Meetings on the books all week. I have a vision, a goal, and a whole lot of DRIVE!

It is all God, and he is IN IT this time. It's giving partnership and mentorship, and I am here for it.

I'm grateful when people acknowledge that they 'see me.' Being recognized is truly a blessing.

Similar to a lighthouse, I've been a beacon of safety for many, offering reassurance and security. I provide hope in calm waters and guidance in uncertainty. Like any structure, I may need upkeep, but I remain resilient. Even in the fiercest storms, I stand firm.

As Jennifer Egan said, 'Every lighthouse has its own unique story, just as every individual has their own journey.'

Thank you for allowing me to be a guiding light in your life's journey.

I used to feel frustrated when others around me were succeeding, and I couldn't seem to catch a break. But then I realized something important: those people have put in hard work and made sacrifices to reach their goals. I don't know what challenges God has put them through to achieve their success, and honestly, I'm not sure I'd want to experience that.

But I've come to understand that everyone has their own journey, and my time will come too. When we focus on complaining, it's like hitting the stop button on the stopwatch of life until we get back on track. Have you ever noticed that when you align yourself with your purpose, blessings seem to flow effortlessly? That's God hitting the start button, guiding us toward our destined path. 🤍

My creativity has put me in rooms all around the world - even if I wasn’t there physically.

My audacity has elevated me in every position I’ve ever been in.

I turn 32 this year and had to hit an old mentor/employer to tell her than I should’ve listened to her 5-7 years ago. It took me that long to learn a lesson in people and discernment.

I say that to say that some lessons aren’t learned overnight. I’ve had friendships tested, business opportunities slip through my fingers, my reputation questioned, and my feelings hurt behind holding people down. Not only holding them down but also keeping my mouth shut to protect them.

If I can share anything as I move forward in my journey it would be to always do what is best for self. Friends, family, and colleagues aside - you’ve got to be selfish about YOU! The quicker you learn that, the better. Also, trust your gut because that’s God (or whoever your higher power is) and it will NEVER steer you wrong.

When I step back and look over MY life…

A testament to God’s love, favor, mercy, and grace. I am grateful for all that I have in this moment. I am open to the outpouring of love and support I am receiving. I am not an imposter but a conqueror!

The secret sauce? Just keep showing up and continue to be obedient. I am in no way perfect but I do listen. If when I mess up and have to learn a lesson - I listen. Give thanks for everything! I thank God even when I bless someone else because there was a time when I couldn’t. Live your life to the fullest and make impactful decisions.

I have soo much on my plate. I can’t wait to clear some of it to make room for a few passion projects. One of them is learning ASL. I know enough to get my point across but I would love to effectively communicate.

I do a lot of speaking and would love to convey my message beyond just the use of my voice. I want to be accessible to all.

Having actual friends is so dope. People who just know you because they KNOW YOU! They all have something in common but they are all different and that makes the whole experience a vibe.

I enjoy my circles of friends and it’s always an honor to be invited into other circles. It’s a big deal to be introduced to friends of friends because it involves a different level of trust. Friendship is a real thing and it involves a level of love and openness.

We could really get into the beauty that is the duality of friendship.
