The newest edition of the South Arkansas Sun is out now! This week we feature Rickey and Shelley Hargett the Calhoun county farm family of the year. We also have a recap on the city council, school supply list, and more! You can purchase a copy at our office or any local Hampton business. Subscriptions are $30 for a year. Have a great day!

From the Hampton School District:
Since the Governor has mandated that all schools be closed until April 17th, Hampton School District will be offering "Grab & Go" lunches to students (any children 18 years and under) beginning March 30th from 11am until 1pm. This program will be provide Monday-Friday unless otherwise posted. Pick-up will be in the parking lot behind the Elementary Building at the back of the Cafeteria. Vehicles will loop through and the lunches handed out. Please note that the children MUST be in the vehicle in order for lunches to be handed out. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to hand out to adults for the children (the children must be present).

Today at First Baptist Church in Hampton, they are handing out "Bags of Hope" the bag will have peanut butter jelly bread, oranges, juice, and other things.

The AARP Driving Course that was supposed to be on Tuesday, January 7 has been rescheduled to Tuesday February 4.
