The courthouse in Crown Point, Indiana was once known as the "Marriage Mill" and the clerks office was busy all hours and days. The second floor of the courthouse now occupies the Lake County Historical Society and Museum and for decades the clerk's desk was hidden beneath artifacts. Recently an effort was made to bring that part of Crown Point's history to life. Check our this video to see how the Lake County Historical Society is getting a fresh new start!
