Born and raised in the luscious jungles of Maui, HI KaiZen brings an energy that is fueled by his own experience as an attendee within the music scene, with the main goal of creating core memories for anyone who happens to be a part of his performances, events, or even his life in general. Creating safe spaces for artists to express themselves and further their growth.
KaiZen is in love with making people dance. He has a knack for the call and response that music creates, Weaving the world of sound into an audio experience that will linger in your mind and leave you craving more. Bringing people together for the love of dance and music is a main goal. Not only as a dj but as a sound engineer, stage designer, event organizer, and all around hands-on help to build our tribe of artists on the island.
Kaizen has shared stages with some heavy hitters such as DRRTYWULVS, Stylust, Aaron holstein, Nurries, Dalfin, Jalaya, Torbjorn and many more. Constantly progressing and moving forward he has been a core piece of the underground Maui music scene for the last few years!
KaiZen strives to create an atmosphere where you, the listener, LOSE YOURSELF in the moment through dance. He believes music is here to get you out of your own head, bringing people together and losing sense of time and space. The amount of love this human pours into his art is unbelievable. KaiZen has committed his life to music but even taking it a step further, physically, at the grassroots level, Building the spaces for you to reach such heightened states. KaiZen has built countless stages and events that have showcased some of the top artists in the underground bass scene at some of the best collective creative spaces including campquestionmark at burningman, cascade equinox, fuzzfest, enigma gathering and many smaller fests. Kaizen is a true team player in the world of underground bass music and renegade style sound experiences. Pushing local talent to continue progressing and chasing their artistic expressions, KaiZen plays by his own set of rules with a mindset that can not be beaten down. This artist has unlocked a philosophical mindset towards how he sees life and the recipe is actually in his stage name:
