t for yourself. If you're really honest with yourself, you feel stuck in the monotony of the day in and day out. Your core being knows that there is a better life out there. You know that if you don't make a change, you'll reach your breaking point. Always taking care of everyone around me, but never taking a moment for myself. After a series of health complications in 2010, I realized that always giving of myself wasn't working. I went searching for a way to take better care of myself, so that I could take better care of the people I love. Since then, I've made it my mission to share what I've learned with the millions of other worn out caring people on this planet. Today, I offer one on one and group sessions. I also, create short yoga and guided meditation audio tracks that support your journey toward taking moment to focus on yourself whenever and wherever you want to. Millions of people around the world have discovered how mindfulness and yoga help relieve everyday stress and anxiety.

Monday morning feels like the right time to remind you that every moment is the start of a new future.

You don't have to wait until Monday, the first of the month, the end of the week, what ever benchmark you are looking for to make change.

Honestly, deciding to make a change is making a change. You can't change if you don't first decide to.

So seize the moment, and do what you need to make your future the way it's meant to be.

It just feels right on a Monday morning to remind you that each and every moment is a fresh beginning. You don't have to wait until Monday, or the first of the month, or whatever benchmark you're looking for, to make a change. Making the decision to make that new beginning is the start of the change. After all, you can't change if you don't decide to change.

Continuing on trying to remember talking about chakras...here is a great infographic of the different chakras and the color associated with them.

The easiest way to remember the color associated with each of the chakras, for me, is the remember the colors of the rainbow run up the the center line starting with red at your root chakra and ending with violet for the crown.

Eating a rainbow diet has been proven scientifically to be good for the body and overall health. When thinking about chakras and what helps keep those energy centers flowing properly, a rainbow diet is also what you want to focus on. Eating colors associated each chakra helps open up its energy flow.

As I said when I began the chakra talks, at first, I thought chakras were just a bunch of new age mumbo jumbo. However, when looked at scientifically, one can in fact see how they relate to the human body and understand where they come from.

Let's talk about ways to get some much needed muscle relaxation today.

There is this super scientific-y process in which once contracted, muscles release a chemical that causes them to relax. I find it really interesting to read about, you don't need to know all the chemicals and functions and stuff, but just know that this is actually scientifically backed.

If you are feeling stressed and tense, a great way to get those muscles to relax out is to start at the far end of your body: if you're shoulders are tight, start at your feet, if your back your legs are tight start with your head.

Take a deep breath and tense those the muscles in that muscle group as much as you can without hurting yourself and hold both the tensed muscle and your breath for a few seconds. Exhale, and release the muscles. Repeat this process with every large muscle group you can think of heading either up the body, or down the body. Chances are by the the time you get to the muscle group that was tight, it will have already started to loosen. Again, there are all kinds of scientific reasons for this. Just know it works.

After you have finished your trip up, or down, the body tensing and releasing, just take a few breaths to notice how your body feels.
