On Monday's Five State Sunrise, heard 7-8 am Central (6-7 am Mountain), Marky Billson will be talking to Gy Waldron, a famed television writer who wrote for Lear on One Day at a Time and then went on to create The Dukes of Hazzard, about Near's impact on pop culture. Lear, who created All in the Family and many other groundbreaking shows, died earlier this week at 101. Don't miss it- keep that dial locked on to AM 1210 or FM 106.3!

Based on surface temperatures and dewpoints the area shaded in white has the best chances for winter impacts (mainly due to snow and reduced visibility) through the day today. This is not a guarantee that there will be impacts, but the area that has the best chances. Light blue may see some light snow, with minimal impacts. And the area in green will likely be too warm for a snow change over, or it will not be able to change over long enough to have an impact.

Overall, just a light dusting to a half an inch of snow is expected through tonight for portions of the NW Panhandles. However, if a band of snow can develop, the potential is there for an inch or more of snow in localized areas. Not a high chance, but a chance none-the-less.
