At tonight's council meeting, Captain Fairless presented four firefighters with commendations and a citation pin for what we call in the fire service “getting a grab.” these four pictured made an interior fire attack on a working structure fire January 6th. During the fire attack, accompanied by search and rescue efforts, an elderly man was found trapped. They were able to safely remove him from the burning home and turn him over to Guthrie EMS, where he was transported by ambulance to be treated for smoke inhalation. Their bravery and dedication to protecting citizens daily is unmatched! Great work, Green Shift Goats!

It is with the most sincere gratitude that we thank the anonymous donors who purchased this new wrestling mat for our athletes. Although the donors didn’t want public recognition- our athletes, coaches, parents and booster club wanted to give thanks!

We cannot brag on the Guthrie community enough for what they do to help support our growing program!
