Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! We are so glad that you are here! Please join us as we dive into all the different subjects from Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church

We start off this week talking about what Jesus thinks of us "modifying" our bodies, and if there is a line to be drawn based on a Christian outlook.

Why do tax collectors seem to always be mentioned along side the list of other hated actions, and why it was that people hated them?

There's lots going on in Luke 17-19, and we will go through it to pin point who Jesus is referring to when He talks to His children or "little ones".

We will also talk about how we are suppose to call people out, "rebuke" them, when it comes to their sins, but to do it in the right stages. Lots of great 'Thinking' this week!

We get started talking about "the sins committed that can't be forgiven" and clarifying what sin the Bible means. We discuss the parable that Jesus told of the lady that lost her coin and then celebrated with friends and family when it was found.

We talk about The Parable of the Prodigal Son and how we all in our human nature can fall into acting and making decisions like The Prodigal Son. We'll also discuss The Parable of the Dishonest Manager and how Jesus uses this story to teach us about the importance of being wise and focusing on managing what we have been blessed with prudently.

This week we start with Pastor D's take on the situation with United Healthcare and their continual denials of people's insurance claims. Then we'll discuss what it might look like if the United States takes over the Gaza Strip and why Westerners think that they can stop the fighting in the Middle East. We'll also briefly touch on all of the wasteful spending that is being found in the US government lately.
We tackle a few listener questions about what constitutes a lustful thought and what it might look like when we enter Heaven. If you were wondering what Pastor-D meant about how the good things in life sometimes lead to trouble, he's going to tell us.
Pastor-D gives us some insight about what Mary must have been thinking when Jesus' family came to stop him from carrying out his mission. What is a demon? Where do they come from? Hi everyone! This week on Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D we dive into all the different subjects from Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church.

* Pastor-D's gives us his impersonation of "sissy" Jesus and find out what he thinks about that perception of him. 👀
* We go back through one of the most famous Bible verses ever and break it down from the Greek translation to see what it really means.
* We discuss some of the laws from the Old Testament and how the disciples broke those laws by eating wheat. Why the priests who condemned them were not able to see Jesus as the Messiah and whether they had anything better to do. 🤔
* Does Jesus get mad? Pastor-D and Joe tell us how we should approach trying to forgive people when we feel that we have been wronged.

This our third week discussing The Book Of Luke at Coast Life Church. This week on Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D we dive in with a listener question about the conversations that God and Jesus have.

* We talk about what Peter must have felt like, and what we might feel like if we were to come into the presence of Jesus.
* We find out why Jesus chose to use Peter in the many ways that he did.
* We discuss Jesus breaking the Old Testament ceremonial law with his curing of Larry the L***r and Paul the Paralytic.
* Pastor-D will tell us about how modern-day Jewish people have "tabled" the Old Testament laws and get around without obeying them.
