Johnny Fowler, 63, is the fatality in the fatal hit-and-run Saturday evening on FM 3460 in the Shepherd, TX area at approximately 6:50 pm.

Johnny was riding his riding lawn mower, towing a small trailer, traveling south on FM 3460 when he was struck by a 2001 Cadillac. The Cadillac would keep on going. Johnny would sadly be pronounced deceased on the scene. 54-year-old Michael Davis of Shepherd was the driver of the Cadillac. Davis was placed under arrest on charges of failing to stop and render aid, causing injury or death, a felony offense. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The community nicknamed him Johnny Carpet because of his carpentry work in the community. We have no further information to release at this time. We pray for the family, friends, and everyone involved.

Shooting at La Michoacana in Lufkin, TX this afternoon. According to Lufkin PD, officers were called to a grocery store in Lufkin at about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday in response to a shooting.

Two men got into a fight; one slapped the other, and then the man who had been hit pulled out a gun and fired four shots. At least one shot injured the other man. The man who fired the shots has been arrested, and an investigation is ongoing.

Conroe ISD transportation employee Dovonna Eldridge was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury Class A after allegedly violently attacking and biting her husband. Monday night around 7:30pm. A judge would order an automatic protective order against her. According to witnesses and sources, she would confess to police.

She would bond out of jail on Tuesday and would return back to work Wednesday. We have no further information to release at this time.

We can confirm Devyn Hines, 23, has been found safe. He had gone missing in Crockett in the East Bowie Avenue area early today, experiencing a mental health crisis. According to Crockett PD.

Lydise Izquierdo, 42, mother of 5 of Diboll, has sadly passed away after a fatal wreck on FM 1818, west of Huntington, that occurred Tuesday in Angelina County at approximately 1:14 am.

Ms. Izquierdo was traveling with her passenger south in a Ford pickup. When, for unknown reasons, her Ford left the roadway and struck a tree. She was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Rodney Cheshire. The passenger identified Justina Gee, 22, of Huntington, was transported to St. Luke’s Health Memorial Hospital in Lufkin for non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Lindsay Nicole Cox, 35, is the fatality of the Friday night wreck on I-45 S near the Huntsville area at approximately 9pm.

An 18-wheeler had a flat and was stopped on the right shoulder of the highway. Ms. Cox went into the shoulder of the road and clipped the 18-wheeler with the right side of her car. She was immediately ejected from her vehicle and was pronounced deceased on the scene. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

There was a school shooting tonight at Pasadena Memorial High; at least one man was shot and had to be life-flighted, according to authorities. The shooter (pictured below) was taken down by some of the dads, according to witnesses.

There is currently a wreck on FM 356 in Trinity County by Camp Cullen. There is a car in the ditch. This individual has been transported to the hospital with, luckily, only minor injuries. According to the Trinity County Sheriff's Office.

ICE has been active in Nacogdoches County, according to Sheriff Jason Bridges, who said that they had certain people that they were targeting to apprehend a couple of days ago.

TRINITY - GAS LINE HIT

The City of Trinity is currently working on another water leak on West Main Street (Hwy 230) and Walker Street. While making the repairs, a gas line was hit. Centerpoint Energy has been notified. Water will be shut off for the entire City of Trinity and service area until repairs can be made.

We do not have an estimated time of restoration. Our crews are working diligently to make the necessary repairs.

We recently reported on a wreck involving an 18-wheeler and a sports car in Walker County on the IH-45 northbound service road near the 109-mile marker, in which the sports car would end up underneath the trailer of the 18-wheeler. The driver of the sports car was pronounced deceased on the scene.

That driver of the sports car is identified as Jeffrey Enochs, 39, father of 2. He has been a resident of Walker County for approximately 10 years. He was a strong follower of Christ. According to a close family friend.

We recently reported on Kimberly Lynn Landeche, 41, of Magnolia, being hit by a car Sunday night in an auto vs. pedestrian accident on Hwy 59 in Polk County after having an argument with her boyfriend and getting out of their vehicle and running across 59. She was struck by a car on the way back to their vehicle.

She sadly didn’t survive her injuries from the accident and passed away yesterday morning. According to the family.

We recently reported on an 18-wheeler that overturned carrying sulfur dioxide at FM 1725 and Tyra Dr. Flat in San Jacinto County this morning.

The driver of that 18-wheeler unfortunately didn’t survive the wreck and passed away at the scene. According to the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office.
