🎤✨ Just wrapped up an amazing media training session with the Gresham Chamber of Commerce! Thrilled to help business owners nail their interviews and shine on camera. 📸💪 We ran the participants through two different interview scenarios in our studio and then reviewed everyone's video as a group and gave feedback. 😅 So proud of everyone for showing up, being vulnerable and open. Can’t wait for the next Leadership Academy! 💼🌟

🥗🎉Another chance to dive into Food Foray is here! 🌎✨Join us on Jan 23 at 7 PM Portland Art Museum's Tomorrow Theater for a delicious evening featuring dishes made by our immigrant foodie guests.

Food Foray is all about the unique international grocery stores in East Multnomah County and culinary adventures that delve into conversations around identity, immigration, humor and love. Think Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown but local...!

Try a slice of lush cake from Episode 1, courtesy of Babushka Russian Deli and Bakery and delightfully wonderful Oaxacan tetelas and a cactus salad from chef and food truck operator, Amalia Sierra from Tierra del Sol Cuisine as seen in Episode 2. 🍽️❤️ Don’t miss out—let’s celebrate culture through food! Tag your foodie friends & spread the word! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

🌟What an amazing screening of Food Foray at the beautiful Milagro Theatre! This has got to be one of our best ones yet. The energy was through the roof, the Q&A insightful and the food as delicious as always. We forged some amazing new connections that we hope will lead to more screenings around town and potential financing for new episodes..!

Our favorite part about events like this investing time in community to hear the stories our immigrant neighbors have to share which shed light on the fragility of life, the importance of connecting through food, and leading with love and humor. It's the ultimate cherry on top to then get to do the very thing Food Foray is all about: connect with each other over unique, delicious food! Let's keep these convos going. If you have any leads for future screenings or financing opportunities, slide into our DMs!

🎬 That’s a wrap on our summer programming!

Our education team worked with kids across East County. Young creatives explored photography, music-making, and filmmaking, bringing to life stories of gossiping neighbors, alien invasions, and funny weather reports.

They had green screen dance parties, drew comic book worlds, and captured timelapse videos of fun in the parks. Teens in the POWGirls camp even produced a music video in Studio A!

A big thanks to our partners and interns who made it all possible!
