In response to the inclement weather in our local area, Greenwood School District 52 has announced an eLearning Day for Wednesday, January 22, 2025. All schools will be closed and students and staff will not report to school. Additionally, all after-school activities and athletic events on Wednesday, January 22, are canceled.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather threat for our area Mayor Brown has decided to postpone our regular scheduled town council meeting until Monday January 27th 2025 at 6pm.

Ninety Six Schools are dismissing early, see below...

Due to the possibility of inclement weather threat in our area this afternoon, Greenwood School District 52 will operate on a half day dismissal today.

All after-school activities have been cancelled. The following are dismissal times for students for the half day today:

Primary and Elementary: 12:30 p.m.
Middle and High: 1:00 p.m.

All schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 22. Buses will run two hours later than their normal schedule, and school start times will also be delayed by two hours. The district will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and provide updates through our website, social media platforms, and local news outlets.

Due to anticipated inclement weather, Greenwood School District 50 will operate on a half day dismissal schedule today and two hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22.

Half-Day Dismissal: Schools will dismiss early today to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Please check the dismissal times for your child’s school below:

Elementary Schools: 11:00 a.m.

Middle and High Schools: 11:45 a.m.

All after school activities cancelled

Two-Hour Delay: On Wednesday, January 22, all schools will operate on a two-hour delay. Buses will run two hours later than their normal schedule, and schools will begin two hours later than usual.
