Gone but not forgotten. The Historic Overlay, which was denied, would have meant the applicant could preserve some of the original structure in exchange for incentives in the form of permission for 3 residences on the property which is R6 (two-family as of right). Lots of passions on this application.

The day after P&Z denied the historic overlay, demolition crews set about razing the structure.

Recently, an unexpected call from Phil Brous gave the staff at Hammer & Nails the chance to make a difference in the life of a local hero — a veteran who was staying at Greenwich Hospital.

We certainly have great options in Greenwihc, including Pizza Post, Grigg St, Arcuri's, Luca's, Planet Pizza and Glenville Pizza. And Patsy's I'm told but I haven't tried it yet.
