Now Hear This Podcast Rare and unreleased songs, chats, and exclusive interviews.

05/15/2025

Here we are with another new podcast/episode of NOW HEAR THIS (or NHT, for short), the music podcast that should be your favorite by now. We’re calling this one “How Much Fun” after the Robert Palmer tune you’ll find in the podcast.
NHT is made up of songs that your curators, Rock Stamberg and John Stix, meticulously select and sequence based on two things: It’s gotta be a killer song and a great performance and it’s gotta be kinda off the map, popularity wise. (Sometimes we cheat on that last part but a good song’s a good song.)
It’s the hidden gems we aim to uncover. The new podcast is a special one as we recovered some song ideas we’d short-listed during the pandemic but I never wrote ‘em down. (John and I would meet in my backyard during the summer with an old boom box and those mandatory masks.) Navigate over to our site or iTunes and you’ll hear surprises galore, song wise. It’s good stuff, so … skedaddle.

Now Hear This is hosted by Rock Stamberg and John Stix.
