12 INNINGS!!! That's how long it took to settle things in the first round of the PIAA State Playoffs. A beautiful night did not end so beautiful for our Trojans as they fall
8 to 7 to Redbank Valley in 12 innings, ending Greenville's season. It has been an absolute pleasure covering Greenville Baseball on WGRP, a great set of players and coaches who will continue to do great things. GO Trojans!

It's gameday! Today, your Greenville Trojan baseball team (16-3) will travel to Dubois, PA, for the first round of the state baseball playoffs against the Red Bank Valley Bulldogs (14-8). The site and time are set! Your Greenville Trojans will take on Red Bank Valley in the first round of the PIAA State baseball playoffs. The game will be played Monday at Stern Field in Dubois at 6:30pm. We will go on the air with the WGRP Sports Pre-game show at 6:15pm on 92.7FM, 940AM, and wgrpradio.com.

Mercyhurst Prep proves to be too much in the District 10 Championship game as they defeat the Greenville Trojans 6-0. But the Trojans, led by all-time hits leader Nick Solderich, will be in the State tournament, starting next Monday. We will post the time and location when announced, and we will cover the game right here on WGRP!
