Valentine's Day - a holiday created for consumerism and capitalism. And yes, I'll take gifts and eat out, anyway. My husband, Will surprised me with a flower & earrings. We went to a soup shop. Will had goulash and I had mushroom soup. The last pic is of tiramisu, but I don't eat that, that's all Will! I had a Nutella & M&M pancake afterwards. A good day!

Happy Sunday to all!

This is a spiritual post so if that's not your thing, I'm just giving you that lil warning 💗

This year I've made it a goal to read my Bible everyday. Right now, I'm reading 1 Samuel and Psalms. I'm working through a chronological Bible reading plan so I've been working through the story of David and Saul. I've been trying to pray more. I went to my first Romanian church service last week and I plan to keep going! I also am watching online service while I am here in Romania.

Anyhow, here's a daily verse I'd like to share:

Matthew 6:9-13 NLT
[9] Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. [10] May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give us today the food we need, [12] and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. [13] And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one."

It's easy to call on God when things are hard, but remember to call on Him when things are easy, too. 💟 Sending love

Side note: a lot of my student didn't know Hot Chelle Rae... What does this say about ME?! should I start teaching with their music??

I used them on one of the final exams and my students asked if they were a her or a him and I said, they're a band! I was heartbroken 😆 moreso because I need to do a better job of teaching music apparently

It doesn't matter if I'm teaching in America, Europe, or anywhere in the world ... At the end of the semester, hearing I did a job well done from students or reading they will miss me means the world to me! Every time! 💜 Many followers know, I've had some students of the past that made me question myself. Sometimes, I still do. Even today though, my ultimate goal is to create an environment for students who want to learn in a way that they can understand and feel welcome. It's okay to laugh while we learn! 😯 Anyway, I love what I am doing!
