The Kingsbury Park District Board met Monday and approved the tax levy for taxes to be collected in 2026. The new levy totals $405,792, which is $19,000 more than last year. The Greenville Comets recorded their first win of the 2025-26 season Friday night in the tournament at Carlyle. The Comets edged Riverview Gardens 54-53, and now play Flora at 4:30 this afternoon for fifth place. After Friday’s victory, Jeff Leidel spoke with Head coach Todd Cantrill.
