Physical fitness is hard at 53 if you've been winging it your whole life. You never had to try hard to be active. Then 50 hits you and fitness becomes life. It is work at first and you realize that the only way to success is a habit change. An "Atomic Bomb" habit change that James Clear writes about.
If you do build the habit of daily workout routines then you will be discovering your body through work. The work put in at the time allotted for me is from 630 am to 730 am. The time allotment is all you need. Not the effort. The only effort it takes is going to the gym or your place of workout space. If 12 is hard on the elliptical, then do level 08. If 150lb bench is hard then do 100 x 50 pound benches. Do some intense cardio. Whatever you want? Play the first week. You are building a time allotment and habit for a lifetime of health and wisdom. All things take practice. Relationships, work skills, cooking, praying, reading, listening, waiting, loving, forgiving, all take practice. Compassion as a reaction is a humble man. I am not there yet but God is near!

🌟 Welcoming the New Year's Wisdom: 🌟

This morning at 7:50 a.m., a dear friend sent a heartfelt message ushering in the new year with warm wishes for all. The message included a devotional focusing on passages from Hebrews, emphasizing the importance of not hardening one's heart when hearing the voice of the Divine. The devotional posed a profound question: What one thing stands in the way of a breakthrough, something the Holy Spirit is urging to surrender? A moment for personal reflection as we embark on the journey of 2024. πŸŒ…βœ¨

🌟 A Day of Revelation and Blessings: 🌟

Today brought a chance encounter and a profound revelation. I realized that when my mind races, I tend to jump to conclusions rather than embracing the present moment. A blessing awaited as Jerry, a fellow Christian and co-worker, shared insights on manhoodβ€”stressing humility, emotional balance, and professionalism. We explored the transformative power of the Holy Spirit and the art of surrendering to God. πŸ™βœ¨

🌟 Defining Resilience at QT: 🌟

Today at QT, a chance encounter spoke volumes. A guy, mid to late forties, replied, "I'm okay, even when I'm not okay." As I chuckled, it hit me – that's the essence of a true man. In that moment, I looked at him, smiled, and declared, "That's the definition of a good man." The cashier, wide-eyed, witnessed the exchange, and in that shared recognition, we found a piece of everyday magic. 🀝πŸ’ͺ

Battle Orders for the Week: Mission Resilience

Troopers, we're launching a mission of personal fortitude. Over the next week, execute these actionable directives from the Jocko playbook:

Discipline in the Dawn:

Action: Rise with the sun. Set your alarm early, beat the daybreak.
Objective: Begin each day with purpose. Engage in physical activity or tackle a significant task before the world awakens. Conquer the dawn, and you've conquered the day.
Combat the Chaos:

Action: Establish a tactical plan for the week. Prioritize tasks and create a battle map.
Objective: Bring order to chaos. Prioritize tasks, focus on the critical. Execute each operation with precision. Adapt as needed, but keep your eyes on the objective.
After-Action Reflection:

Action: Before rest, review the day's battles. Journal your wins, losses, and lessons.
Objective: Extract wisdom from each engagement. Learn and adapt. Victory or defeat, every battle is a step toward mastery. Reflect, adjust, and prepare for the battles ahead.
Troopers, deploy these orders diligently. By the week's end, resilience will be fortified. Stand firm, stay disciplined, and forge ahead.

For Honor and Victory! πŸš€πŸ”₯
