When I started my career, my first boss had me cut bobs over and over again until I really understood how to get them just right. At the time, I didn’t fully understand why perfecting it mattered. Years later, it all clicked.

This new client came to me after searching for someone who felt confident cutting bobs —and she left smiling and feeling her best.

The truth is, we’re always learning and improving, but those early lessons often become the foundation for the skills that set us apart.

Ive seen new faces on my page and I thought it’d be the perfect time to (re)introduce myself!

I’m Nixie 🤍 and next year marks my 7th year in the hair industry. But my journey started when I was 10, helping my mom in her salon by blow drying clients hair, yes, technically child labor, but look at me now lol.

When I first became an independent stylist and started booth renting, I was terrified I wouldn’t have any clients. Now my clients are like my besties, making every day in the salon feel less like work and more like hanging out with friends.

I specialize in cuts, blowouts, lived-in blondes, and balayages.

Outside of work, I love going on walks with my husband, playing with our cats, and lately I’ve been into video games.

I’m also a bit of a learning ju**ie, taking online courses watching hair videos and getting certified because I’m obsessed with knowing the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind every technique.

Oh, and if you’re ever here for a color service, expect a coffee run while it processes it’s become a little tradition of mine!

I’m so grateful for each and every one of you and can’t wait to keep creating beautiful hair and lasting memories together!
