My debut novel, The Order of Grimm, is out today in print, ebook and audio, so I decided to celebrate at home with some cake.

It’s been a long journey to get to this point. I’ve been telling people it took me two years, but in actuality I first started crafting this story in April 2022. That’s almost three years! It’s been a trial learning all the in’s and out’s of publishing. Almost as hard as trying to craft the perfect heist.

So many people helped me to make this the best book it could be. The people who volunteered their time to read early drafts. The developmental editor who helped me flesh out the characters to make them the best, most flawed crew they could possible be. .art The artist who crafted this beautiful cover that brings me so much joy.

I’m shocked to discover that from the early reviews, people seem to like it. I’ve watched two different videos today that people took the time to make about my book. Holy crap that’s amazing! I’ll be in the corner happy crying.

Susan wants Ethan, and Chris wants Susan.

Drawn to Ethan and intrigued by Chris, Susan Miller finds herself caught between identical twin brothers at her school. When both of them start wooing her at the same time, she only has to take her pick. Right? Wrong! Ethan is reluctant to kiss her, and Chris wants her for the completely wrong reasons.

Nothing like his obliging and sweet brother, Chris Donovan has trouble written all over him. He changes girls like other guys change t-shirts, and the next trophy on his little list is Susan. That’s the last thing she wants, yet she finds herself responding to all the goodnight texts and other cheeky messages Chris sends. The guy has a way of getting under her skin like no one ever has before.

How long will it be until Susan falls for his smooth charm and gets herself into more trouble than she can possibly handle? And where does that leave Ethan?

A game of fast cars, safewords, and true love.

My world shattered when I met my match.

I pride myself on keeping control of everything. Always. My only weakness? Reckless challenges.

After losing my car to the new street racer in town, Sebastian gives me a chance to get it back. His condition: two hours with him in which he can do whatever he wants. No safeword allowed.

While I know this could very well turn out as the biggest mistake of my life, I accept. And when he kisses me, I reach my f--king limits.

Once in a lifetime, you meet a unicorn.

Raffael is pure Nordic ice. Controlled. Determined. And drop-dead gorgeous.

Winning his car was a lucky strike. Winning his heart when he's so afraid of the truth, turns out to be the hardest challenge I've ever raced to complete.

WARNING: This boy-love romance is sweeter than you may expect, but still not for kids under 18. The main story is gay, yet there are occasional bi-moments.

Auguste Groner is a woman who wrote short detective novels in the early 20th century in Austria—these stories have been translated well and they fit in with an interesting group of early detectives.

These stories capture the beginnings of the stereotypical detective who appears to be too humble and unintelligent to solve complicated mysteries.

From the celebrated author of Madeleine and Don’t Tell Me Who to Love comes Emma Nichols’ Love in the Shadows—a gripping story of resilience in the face of adversity, weaving the bonds of love and resistance during World War II.

Johanna Neumann, a once-acclaimed pianist, is forced to leave her high-society life in Berlin to support her military husband, the newly appointed Kommandant of Erstein. With her son enlisted in the Hi**er Youth and her dreams of music silenced by the clamor of conflict, she grapples with the harsh realities of her new existence in a place where she is neither welcome nor trusted. Haunted by loss and loneliness and disillusioned by her husband’s transformation, she, like many, yearns for an end to the war so she can go back to her beloved homeland before her young daughter, Astrid, is recruited into the N**i regime.

As Johanna tries to navigate her restricted life in the heart of war-torn 1943 Alsace, a flicker of hope emerges in the form of Fabienne Brun, a spirited dairy farmer turned French Resistance fighter. Their connection is undeniable, and that is more terrifying than the war, but is Johanna delusional in hoping for a future together, if they survive the war?

Find out, in this epic love story that will keep you up listening late into the night.

An anthology of writings for the Christmas season from the pen of Charles Dickens.

Ebenezer Scrooge, described as "a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner," is certainly no lover of the Christmas season.

He is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him that he will be visited by three further spirits: The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come. A heart-warming story of one man's redemption, populated with many memorable and well-loved characters.

'A Christmas Carol: Being a Ghost Story of Christmas' was published in 1843 and is one of Charles Dickens' best-loved tales. Following its success, Dickens went on to publish further novellas with strong social and moral messages for the Christmas market. These became known as his "Christmas books," all of which offer a wonderful glimpse of mid-19th Century Christmas traditions.

Included in this collection are the other four Christmas novellas:
'The Chimes: A Goblin Story of Some Bells that Rang an Old Year Out and a New Year In' (1844); 'The Cricket on the Hearth: A Fairy Tale of Home' (1845); 'The Battle of Life: A Love Story' (1846); 'The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain: A Fancy for Christmas-Time' (1848).

Also included in this collection are the following, which first appeared in the seasonal editions of 'Household Words,' a publication that Charles Dickens edited in the early 1850s:
'A Christmas Tree'; 'What Christmas is as we Grow Older'; 'The Poor Relation's Story'; 'The Child's Story'; 'The Schoolboy's Story'; 'Nobody's Story'

Treat someone you love this season with A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Stories by Charles Dickens, narrated by Amanda Friday and Rob Goll.

Political Ideals by Bertrand Russell Anyone familiar with Russell's works will find a common theme running through the material: Despite being published over a century ago, his thoughts and philosophy remain remarkably a propos today. Russell argues AGAINST the possessive impulse that global capitalism stimulates in humans and which only benefits the possessor, and FOR the creative impulse, which benefits not only the creator but humankind as a whole. He also supports the establishment of an international parliament to address nation-to-nation conflicts—a palatable alternative to war. 1. Political Ideals 2. Capitalism and the Wage System 3.
