Don't get me wrong, I love dump truckin, but my goal when I jumped into this new job was to prove to the powers that be, that I'm more than just a dump truck driver. I want to be a utility player. If it's got wheels or tracks I wanna learn it inside and out. Today started that journey. Dream big, set goals and don't let anyone stop you.

1st week down. I have to say, sitting in orientation and other training for a BIG company was new for me. I've always worked for the small guy. I'd be lying if I didn't say I thought about walking out and right back to my previous job. But I stuck it out. Got to the quarry on Thursday and immediately felt like I belonged. In 2.5 days I've gotten to do some cool s**t. Next week should even be more exciting. The big picture, Ryan. Focus on that. My future looks good. I have lofty goals that I think are very attainable.

We will be teaming up with Chino's Place who is bringing their own food truck to sell some grub while we accept your donations. Well...it's on and lit. Kinda. Huge thanks to Bryan Lambert for seeing my vision and making it happen. Kevin Keller for the paint, And Mike Murray for the wiring work. We still have a major gremlin to chase in the lighting, but we are slowly narrowing it down. We're gonna get this truck wired correctly. It's just taking time. I've written off this show season but we're coming back next year in a big way!
