“songs in the forest” is a total BEAST of an album and extremely ambitious! We recorded over a two year period to get it where we wanted. Tracking in two separate studios (Hinnendael Studios and Fox River Studios) to obtain just the right tone. It’s a double disc album that we decided to release all at once. It has ups and downs. Large ones. It’s very difficult to nail down a genre for these rockers. If you want to help out local record labels, studios, and the band, you can buy it now 🙏 or purchase a physical copy at any of their shows starting with the big album release gig Jan 25th, 2025 in Sheboygan or save it to your calendar for the official release this Sunday the 19th of January, 2025.

Fun Fact: Thorgrim was the first artist signed to Pale Rider Records 😁 and this is our first official release together. Very exciting for the label and all other local bands looking to get signed.

He and his wife, Maria, take the stress element of being in the studio environment out of the equation with a comfortable and inviting space to record and create.
