Being in the legislature can be a daunting task. But, sitting down with a state representative and friend is always a great time. George Nikolakakos has invited me to a few events and share a table with him. Unfortunately, when you are at those events, you don't get a chance to catch up.

It was great spending some time together and getting to know one another. Asking the hard questions and getting the right answers is a plus.

I encourage everyone on my page to reach out to some of these amazing leaders and pick their brains. Get the facts of what goes on, not hear say and rumors!

"Jimmy John's adventure! 😅

Tried to pick up sandwiches for the crew at Peace Place on Saturday, but a text mix-up led to grabbing the wrong order.

Walked into Peace Place with Jimmy John's, only to find out my text was misunderstood and the order was already picked up, even tho I asked the cashier 3 times if it was our order.

Back to Jimmy John's to save the day. Crisis averted. The real owner of the order was there and very thankful I came back!

Moral: clear texts and maybe a call next time!

🌟☕ Java Hut Delight in Conrad! ☕🌟

Java Hut truly hit the spot this morning! 🌄 Had an amazing time in Conrad, starting with a coffee with Mayor Jamie Miller ☕✔️

Lyndsie Denzer, the owner of The Java Hut for the past 10 years, had the coffee ready and waiting. 🙌 Even in the -26 weather, they kept the fire going and the coffee flowing, ensuring everyone stayed warm and caffeinated. ☕🔥

It was heartwarming to see a guy making multiple trips to deliver trays of coffee to businesses braving the cold. ❄️☕

Java Hut, now located in its current spot for 4 years, has become a local gem. Our daughter Jessica used to come here to read and soak in the fantastic atmosphere. 📚

A big shoutout to Lyndsie and Cheyenne for their hospitality and dedication! Next time you're in Conrad, make sure to swing by The Java Hut, say "hi," and grab a cup of Joe! ☕👋
