The Larned Police Department would like to make the public aware that Karl Uiboleht from Southwestern Advantage will be going door to door in Larned selling educational books and materials. Karl Uiboleht has checked in with City Hall and has completed all documents necessary to make sales door to door in the City of Larned. If anyone has further questions, they can call City Hall at 620-285-8500 or the Larned Police Department at 620-285-8545.

Our friends at the The Humane Society of the United States and their partnership with Chewy have graciously shared pet products with us and other shelters alike. The goal is to help community owned pets by offering free products they may need. There is so much product, we about need another storage shed!

To re-home these goodies, we invite you to visit us during our community give back day on Saturday, July 9th at the Brit Spaugh Park - north side from 10A - 1P.

There are new products, discontinued and returned products included with this give back. (Items are as is and cannot be returned.)

Did we mention - all pet products are free? Need a crate or ramp? What about a pet door for your sliding glass door that leads into your back yard? Small and furry animal cages? ALL FREE!

**Per the guidelines receiving these goods, items cannot be given to, shared with or used by rescues/fosters, animal shelters or humane societies - only community owned pets.**

And, if you would like to have your pet microchipped while shopping around for your needed items, we will have a couple of staff on hand to microchip your pet. Microchipping is just $25 per pet. Please bring proof of current rabies with you.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

When a U.S. flag is so damaged that it can no longer serve as a symbol of our Country, it should be retired in a dignified way. Most often, retired flags are burned. If you have a flag that is damaged or tattered, please feel free to deposit it in the bin located in the Courthouse Rotunda.

Chairman Shawn Hutchinson said that the free bin was provided through a joint undertaking by the National Association of Counties and the Kansas Association of Counties.
