LAM News Latin American Ministries (formerly known as Christian Outreach Mission
for Evangelism or C.O.M.E. Now under (Bill Loft Mission Inc.)

and Ninos Dominicanos) is a non-profit
Christian organization founded by Billy and Bette Loft. Veteran missionaries Billy and Bette Loft have been instrumental in starting
over 200 churches in their 34 year ministry. They have worked in
Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador,
Guatemala, Nicaragua and more recently Paraguay SA. Their work has
involved medical outreach, schools, "street children" ministries,
sponsorship for educational aid, trade and technical training while
maintaining their focus on establishing churches.

Pray for the church in Recife as they plan for the future and raise funds for the church expansion… The land next to their present building is available and would serve for parking and expansion of the present worship center… Thanks for keeping us all in your prayers!!!

Pray for pucallpa… the high fuel prices and the corruption finally ignited… Fuel prices went up again and everything has stoped … The trip up river with Teco and the music ministry has been postponed until the boats start running again… buses and the airport are closed, all gas stations and businesses are closing as well… keep the churches in your prayers…

Last day!!! went@@ to Caserio Manco Capac, about 2 hrs from Pucallpa… New church the leaders from Pucallpa has started… we had a great time with the children, a session with the youth and adults, lunch and volley ball and soccer afterwards… Bruno leaves tonight to Brazil, Denise and Jonathan leave early in the morning to Spain, everyone else but Jim and I leave in the afternoon…. It’s been great to be with the churches and leaders… Jim (my brother) and I will be meeting with some of the leaders and then Tuesday night we have a leadership meeting and service in Pucallpa… It has been fun!!! We want need to thank you for your prayers…

Th Shipibo church in Victoria Gracia fixed a typical fish meal for us today after church… Really was good fish, lots of bones, but manageable if you used your hands… do as they say!!! Heading back into town for last VBS in Pucallpa and then church service… Tomorrow will be travel day and VBS at a new church plant several hrs away… Everyone seems healthy so far… keep us in your prayers!!!
