🌼 Exciting News from the Field! 🌼🌱
Our dedicated team of field staff and consultants at Dudek have made incredible strides in biodiversity conservation! We're thrilled to announce that over 100,000 seeds of the endangered slender-horned spineflower have been carefully dispersed into fresh grounds of the Upper Santa Ana River Wash preserve.
This delicate and rare species is receiving a helping hand as we work tirelessly to establish new, thriving populations. Starting with a bountiful collection of 260,000 seeds from 418 parent plants, our efforts have culminated in the strategic seeding across trial blocks within areas rich in natural potential, including Plunge Creek and Cone Camp.
Through our thoughtful approach to ecological restoration, we are not only bringing back a species from the brink but also contributing to the wider aims of the Santa Ana Wash Plan. Our mission is to nurture these habitats to create a sustainable future for the numerous species that rely on them.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to expand this vital project to even more locations. Together, we're planting seeds of hope and growth for our natural world!
