Escape Hatch at Big Fam
Have been building more time to improv in my live sets!!
This track is called "Escape Hatch" and has been in my arsenal for a few years now. Even the recorded version was an improv that I cleaned up a little bit.
I just really desire for the electronic music world to have more real- time music making happen.

Story time:
When I was in middle school and being a nerdy clarinet player, my grandpa got me a copy of Print Music (baby Finale (RIP)) and I started writing band music. For a few years, my hyperfixation was writing classical sheet music!
Fast forward to young adult Aaron. I was actually on track to be a classical clarinet performer, was practicing 3 hours a day, invested in lessons and a college degree, but got burned out by not creating the music myself, just regurgitating dead people's music thousands of other players had played it, the exact same way. I didn't want to be put in a box like that. Thus, my EDM journey has not only been how to learn the ins and outs of music production, which is a whole journey in itself, but about how to incorporate all the musical skills I've acquired over the years in a creatively satisfying manner.
I finally feel like i'm in a place to start incorporating the things I love about classical music, live music performance, and rave culture, and have the tools to pull it off in a live setting.
This clip is the tip of the creative iceberg for my plans for the TechTonic project!
Big Cloud Presents: CURE MICHIGAN CUP 2024 was such a vibe!
I was treated like family from the moment I got to the fest, and am grateful to be able to perform on such a fantastic stage.
