My remix of Whitney Waz "I've Already Died" is dropping this Friday on Grand Alliance Music!!

When I produced this track I really tried hard to not make a genre but just create what came naturally to my brain and also match the energy and flow of Whitney's vocal part... and I'm super super pumped with the final result!!!!!!!

Behind the music: Neo Twilight

Circling back to some of the stories behind my music...

The track takes place in TechTonia, a futuristic metropolis where nature and humanity have found a way to live in harmony. Through the track, the listener is transported to twilight in the city. Overlooking vast skyscrapers and nature-reclaimed buildings, the listener can experience a sunset in TechTonia, a breathtaking view of the city as dusk claims the city.

Dreamy synth melodies, dark trap beats, and gritty basses tell the musical story of Neo Twilight. As dusk descends upon the city, the listener can just exist and take in the serene melodic writing, interweaving synths, basses, and vocalscapes to set the scene for the track.

First festival booking of 2025 ready to roll, super excited to be back at Michigan Gems n Genetics Festival June 14th!

These guys were some of the first to see Mar in Color and me do our thing at a birthday party last year and really believed in us from the start. I'll always be grateful to Daniel Genetics and the whole community he's built for welcoming us with open arms and offering a stage to share my art with the world.

You can also catch Fortunate Youth, Highdeas Music, and G***a Girl as well as others yet to be announced. See you this summer!

First up for 2025: I have a brand new DJ mix releasing on Grand Alliance Music tomorrow! Lots of new ids, edits, and instrumental performances.

Lots of new music on the horizon! Cooked up this beat at the Perennial Music Retreat, was super fun putting together tracks out of the samples we made. Stay tuned 2025 is shaping up very nicely :)

Trying to help my students break out of their comfort zone, and I realized I needed to break out of mine too...so producing a song in logic and singing lyrics is about as out of my comfort zone as it gets! Feels good to speak your truth. Would recommend!!

Big fam Christmas is this Friday! Big Fam Music & Arts Festival is hosting a The BoredomFighters Foundation benefit show. All proceeds to help kids make beats!!! I got new tracks and some instrument garden magic (iykyk), an official feature with Mar in Color, and it's all for a great cause. T1x b3l0w

Escape Hatch at Big Fam

Have been building more time to improv in my live sets!! This track is called "Escape Hatch" and has been in my arsenal for a few years now. Even the recorded version was an improv that I cleaned up a little bit. I just really desire for the electronic music world to have more real- time music making happen. Much love to Big Fam, Kristina Bailo dancing, and DjFest on the video!

Peep my track "Perception" performed live at Big Fam! The homie Bosstatus sent me the original sketch and we fused our sounds with Tonik to create one of my favorite tracks to date. Catch Bosstatus at Tangent Gallery / Hastings Street Ballroom this Saturday! I'll be playing a little live sax to boot, going to be a great time!
