The code word for the weekend tournament is “choppy” please write it visible on your scale on your hand for the fish photo you submit on scale. Failure to due so will result in a fish DQ. Good luck guys, hope to see some good fish scaled this weekend!

Here are some sample photos of what we will be requiring for the tournament this weekend.

Thursday night we will be releasing a code word. Please make sure it is visible in your fish photo, the way we recommend it is taping it to your scale handle. This is to prove the fish was caught during the tournament and not photos from past trips.

Again, we’ll post the code word Thursday afternoon, make sure it is in your submitted photos or your fish will not count.

Also this is a SWIMBAIT ONLY tournament. A good rule of thumb is if you see it for sale on Swimbait universe or Underground it is fair game to fish. I’ve had a few questions about the Cave Town baits Dweller and I’m counting that as a swimbait. No kitechs or kitech style paddle tails.

Running a 3 day swimbait tournament starting Friday morning at 5am. Free to enter, hosted through the Scale app. Any scale is acceptable and pictures of readable scale along with some of the fish is needed in your photo submissions. 1st-3rd will win gift cards. The newest addition to the SNT Media series is the SNN (Scales News Network) weekly video! Think of the Tackle Warehouse "What's New" videos, and that's essentially what we’re going for. Your weekly Monday evening watch will cover everything you may have missed in the swimbait scene. With social media platforms often curating “custom” algorithms, it’s easy to miss out on drops and events you never knew about. We hope to eliminate that by providing a weekly roundup covering everything from bait drops and events to new content from creators and everything else there is to cover.

We’re looking to work with builders to stay in the loop on when they’re planning to drop baits so we can share that in our videos. And painters, we didn’t forget about you either! We’d like to have a list of painters with availability that we’ll share biweekly as well.

Between the podcast, magazine, and now these weekly videos, our goal is to get everyone on the same page, promote cool events, help builders and painters grow, and expand the community. We hope this is something you can watch and not only be entertained by but also learn a thing or two. We look forward to hearing from builders on bait updates and viewers who may have suggestions on what we can include and do for future shows.
