I've always thought "Rain song" is 10x better than Stairway. Zeppelin is ageless in the test of time. George Harrison, a good friend of LZ, complained to Bonzo, "you guys never do any ballads". Jimmy took it as a challenge and this gorgeous heaven sent masterpiece is the result. Bonzo doesn't come in full force until the 5 minute mark, but when he does.. wow... what an entrance.

🇫🇮🇫🇮--And their tax rate runs from 4.36% and 10.86% at the top end. Whereas USA rates are some 30%. Finland also has the most metalheads per capita and nobody else is even close. 🇮🇪🇮🇪--If there was ever one band that is criminally underappreciated for what they've done for rock and metal music, it's hands-down, Thin Lizzy. All those great Iron Maiden melodies? From Thin Lizzy. Metallica? Gigantic fans. Every metal band you listen to, either stole from them knowingly or subconsciously. Classy gesture. Winger really had a lot of bad luck with the whole Beavis and Butthead thing. I prefer them way over the other W bands. To me, there was never anything more poseur than being afraid of your friends judgement of what was in your music collection. Think about how poseur that s**t is. I love thrash but there was no genre and scene more guilty of that bulls**t. So many great thrash bands and thrash songs. But I always hated that element about it.

Steve Vai just recently released the album "Gash" which he recorded in 1991 with the namesake, a NYC biker dude doing the vocals. Said biker/singer sadly passed away later in 90s. It's been sitting on a shelf, until now. This one is pretty kick ass. (Don't worry it's not a Kenny Loggins cover, it's a biker song)

One of the best albums in 2023 so far, is from Russian post metal band Ypres and their 2nd full-length Solypso. If you have followed any artist of anything from Russia through past few years, as a whole, they have been isolated since jackass fu****ce Putin invaded Ukraine. As much as we rightfully despise Putin, the Russian people are suffering greatly, and we should not hold Putin against them. Sad to see so many suffer for a diseased megalomaniac. They haven't even been visible to promote their 2nd album. Let's hope the war is over soon so we can appreciate and communicate with our Russian friends. Hopefully some day they get this message, I hear you guys. Keep going. It's more important right now than ever.
