You can join the statewide movement and make a big impact in your community. This year, Colorado Gives Day is on December 10, and itโ€™s easily the best day to give!

Early Giving Starts Today
From November 1 through December 10, every donation you make will be boosted with a $1M+ Incentive Fund, made possible by Colorado Gives Foundation and FirstBank. Each nonprofit will receive a share of the fund based on their percentage of the total raised. Plus, if you set up a new monthly donation, Colorado Gives Foundation will match your first monthly donation up to $100 and up to $250,000 in total across all organizations! This is a fantastic opportunity to double your impact and support our efforts to increase our influence giving a voice to local non-profits, local Artists and Musicians, and local businesses to come together and grow our community.

How to Get Started:

Visit our donation page at https://www.coloradogives.org/donate/kafmradio
Choose the option for monthly giving.
Your donation will be matched automatically.
Last year, Coloradans raised over $54 million statewide, and we raised 4657.00. You can help us achieve even more.

Thank you for your support and making this Colorado Gives Day the most successful yet.

About Us

Mission Statement

KAFM is a member-supported, volunteer-oriented community radio station dedicated to excellence and diversity in musical, cultural and public service programming. KAFM fills a vital role in the Grand Valley of Western Colorado as an accessible forum for the presentation of music, arts, culture and information by and for the local community.

Our Solar Initiative

During the week of April 6, 2008, the switch was thrown -- and, as fast as an electron, KAFM's dream to become the first partially solar-powered radio station in the Grand Valley became a reality. If you've driven by the station at 1310 Ute Avenue, you've seen the 20 180-watt panels now lining the top perimeter of the building. These panels reduce KAFM's power bills by up to 30%, and represent the station's commitment to steward its resources in an intelligent, sustainable and responsible way.
