Snow will begin to fall overnight with some mountain passes seeing light accumulations. However the main impacts from this storm over the most mountains of eastern Utah and western Colorado be Sunday afternoon through Monday morning as the colder air arrives. Winter driving conditions should be planned for it travelling along the mountain corridors.

MISSING PERSON: Dallas Roberts, a 19-year-old male of Montrose, Colo., was last seen on 10/28 in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park area. He is approximately 5'11", 130lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

Independence Pass has been closed ahead of the winter storm arriving later today. At this time, this is a temporary closure and road conditions will be reevaluated on Wednesday by Colorado Department of Transportation for a possible reopening later in the week. The closure will be in effect from Lincoln Creek Road on the Pitkin County side of the pass and at the winter closure gate on the Lake County side of the pass. While Lincoln Creek remains accessible, please be aware that significant snowfall has been forecasted and Lincoln Creed road will not be cleared of snow. Check your tires and drive safe.
