Cartoon Boy Studios has been in the making for about 12 years. It started out in my home where I prepared a room, sound proofing and wiring it and when I was done what I really had was a nice stereo room. I had a lot to learn. Through the years the equipment has changed several times while I went through the process of learning what was really needed to produce a quality product. About a year ago
I expanded the studio to fill two rooms including a musicians room and a control room. Over the past year I've had numerous musicians and bands in the studio and recorded several demos. I intend to use the studio mostly for musicians and singers who want to honor God with their music. I am a worshipper and desire greatly that the God of heaven will receive Glory from the work produced at Cartoon Boy Studios. When my son Alex was about 5 or 6 years old he was playing with my niece and making goofy faces and saying funny things. She called him a "Cartoon Boy". The name has stuck with me and I thought it would work well for this place. Cartoon Boy Studios also works on video projects such as scanning photos or taking digital photos and putting them into video form. This is a process that is time consuming for some people but I have learned to do the work through years of practice in a minimal amount of time. One way to make this type of work cost effective is to bring me photos of sports events where 30 or 40 parents may have photos of a team and combine them for 1 project. I put them in motion and add music. If you have a desire to sing, play an instrument or play with a band and record your music, as long as it is in some way God honoring, I'd love to have you in for a session and see what we can do for you.
