As winter storms challenge us all, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible dedication of our first responders, emergency services, linemen, Department of Public Works, snow plows, Michigan Department of Transportation, postal employees, radio personnel, reporters, and others keeping our communities safe and running. Ottawa County Sheriff's Office class on Avoiding Financial Scams in Georgetown Charter Township is canceled today due to inclement weather. The class is rescheduled for March 11 at 12:45 pm at the Georgetown Connections Senior Center (7100 8th Ave, Jenison, MI 49428).

The next class is January 30 at 10AM, Four Points Center in Grand Haven (1051 S. Beacon Blvd).
