We had a great time fishing with the youths and partnering with Reach 1 Teach 1 today. Reach 1 teach 1 is a local non profit with the mission of helping young men grow in good character, stature, academic achievement, and leadership within in our community.

I would also like to shoutout for his contribution to help us purchase fishing rods and bait for the event 🙏🏾.

I was out of town and unable to take my son trout fishing so my wife braved the cold and took him out to a local city pond that was stocked with trout. Parker was determined to catch his limit switching to different baits, and lures that allowed him to catch his trout limit in a few hours. I GOT MY FIRST GOOSE! We went on a squirrel hunt that turned into a goose hunt! I tried sneaking up on the geese but they ended up swimming to the opposite end of the pond 😂. I got the kids to try and scare the geese my way and that didn’t work. The geese flew over to another pond so we devised a plan for Parker to scare the geese while we hid and waited on the opposite end. The plan worked! The geese flew directly over us and I was able to shoot my first goose! We ate the goose that night and I was very surprised on how good it tasted! ANOTHER ONE! 🦆

Planned a goose hunt with my buddy John and new N.C. resident we saw a flew flocks way off in the distance but couldn’t get any geese close to our decoy spread. We packed everything up and were loading our cars when we noticed 2 ducks fly over the pond. The ducks did 2 circles and came straight over us and I sent 3 Hail Mary shots and ended up getting one on the last shot! 💪🏾
